Already Approved

I want to encourage you today to resist the fear of other people and their opinion's about you. Some people go through life and are tempted to quit or they don't move forward in confidence if someone has something negative to say about anything they are doing.

Proverbs 29:25 (MSG) "The fear of human opinion disables; trusting in God protects you from that."

I want to you to think about three things:

1) As we live life, we can't seek the approval of both God and people. We have an audience of One. 

Galatians 1:10 (NLT) "Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant."

2) You are not the first person and you will not be the last person to be viewed as not meeting someone's expectations.

Matthew 5:10-12 (NLT) "God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way."

3) Everything we do is for the Lord. 

Colossians 3:23 NLT) "Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people."

I want you to remember that you are already approved by God. You do not have to do anything more or less. He loves you and you are approved.
