Expect Big

The reason why we should expect BIG things in our lives is because our God is BIG! As we live a fearless life, we should expect BIG things from a BIG God. We should expect Him to move, act on our behalf, and for Him to answer.

What are you expecting in your life? What are you expecting from God?

I want to encourage you to:

1) Expect God to give you wisdom.

James 1:5 (TPT) - "And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace."

I am so thankful that God showers His grace on us and the fact that He is so understanding. We do not have to feel bad about needing wisdom. When we ask God for wisdom, He is so happy to give it to us. 

2) Expect God to fight for you.

2 Chronicles 20:17 (NLT) - "But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!”

We already have victory no matter what we face. We just need to resist fear and stand in faith. God is always with us and He fights for us. 

3) Expect God to keep His promises

2 Corinthians 1:20 (CEV) - "Christ says “Yes” to all of God’s promises. That’s why we have Christ to say “Amen” for us to the glory of God.

There are so many promises in the word of God and EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. is YES! As we experience God's promises in our lives, our lives bring Him glory.

Here's what I want you to do:

Expect God to do more than you can imagine in your own mind. 

Ephesians 3:20 (AMP) - "Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,"

Our God is only limited by our thinking. Let's expect BIG things this week.
