Experience His Promises

When we read scripture, we find many, many promises that God has made available to us. The good news is that ALL of them are YES.

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NLT) - "For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory."

They are His promises and He desires us to experience each and every one of them.

Psalms 119:105 (ESV) - "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

Allow the word of God to lead you every day, it lights up the path to experience all that God has for you.

2 Peter 1:4 (NLT) - "And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires."

God's promises are precious and they are great. As we experience them in our lives, we reflect more and more of his nature. We put ourselves in a position to not only experience more of God, but also to share more of God with others.

God's commitment to these promises was already shown when He sent Jesus to die for us.

Romans 8:32 (NLT) - "Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?"

The question is:

How do we experience these promises in our lives?

1) Believe what He says

2) Respond to what He says

We must believe what God says over our own thinking. Our thinking is limited. We must trust that as we seek Him, He is going to lead us to His best for our lives.

Hebrews 11:6 (NLT) - "And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him."

As God speaks to us, we then respond. This is how faith is birthed in our hearts. Faith then gives us access to the things God has for us.

Romans 10:17 (TPT) - "Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One."

My prayer is that today, you would believe what God says and respond to His words. God loves you and wants you to experience His absolute best for your life. He wants you to experience ALL of His promises.

Make the decision to go after everything God has for you.
