I'm R.I.C.H. - Part 2 (Implementing God's Love)

love Feb 14, 2024

We often focus on sharing God's love, but what about filling ourselves with it first? It's time to discover the game-changer: loving yourself!

Why is it important?

Scripture's clear: love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31). When we feel good about ourselves, we can share that love more genuinely with others.

So, how do we love ourselves?

  • Remember: You're amazing. God made you, flaws and all, and declared you "good" (Genesis 1:31). Believe it!
  • Nurture your spirit: Soak in God's word, pray, sing, and connect with Him. Think of it as sunshine for your soul.
  • Feed your mind: Ditch negativity! Surround yourself with positive people and messages. Journal, too - it's like a soul-cleansing spa day.
  • Pamper your body: Move your body, eat yummy (but healthy) food, and get enough sleep. Happy body, happy life!

When you love yourself, you become healthier and more confident, you set healthy boundaries to protect your energy, and you build deeper and more fulfilling relationships.

This week, challenge yourself: Ask, "What serves me?" Nurture your spirit, soul, and body. Remember, God's love is overflowing, waiting to fill you and empower you to love others from a place of abundance.
