Seek God

To fulfill God's purpose for our lives and experience His best, our lives must start with seeking God. 

We must seek God above ALL. We must seek God and His way of doing things. We must seek God constantly. 

Matthew 6:33 (TPT) - "So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly"

Seeking God is the most important thing we can do. As we seek Him (the most important thing), less important things will be given to us. Not that things in our lives that we need and/or desire aren't important. They are just less important. :)

Lamentations 3:25 (ESV) - "The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him."

The question is: Does your soul seek God? Our soul is our mind, our will, and our emotions. 

Journal:

(1) Are my thoughts toward God?

(2) Are my decisions guided by God?

(3) Are my attitudes God honoring?

Amos 5:6 (MSG) - "So seek God and live! You don’t want to end up with nothing to show for your life. But a pile of ashes, a house burned to the ground. For God will send just such a fire, and the firefighters will show up too late."

Seeking God connects you to true life. At the end of our lives so much will be burned and won't mean anything. Let's seek God so we can put our time, energy, and efforts towards advancing God's kingdom, fulfilling His purpose for our lives.

1 Chronicles 16:11 (AMP) - "Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence]."

My prayer is that today, you would seek God with everything in you, making it the most important thing you do. As you seek His face, you will experience His strength and ability to fulfill His plans and purposes for your life.

Seek Him continually.
