Winning in Business

Sep 06, 2022

One thing that I am thankful for is that God created me to WIN! He gave me this business and it was designed to be a blessing to me and to be something that I could succeed in. I want you to grab that for yourself. You were created to WIN in business.

Now, as you are on this journey of success, you will have some challenges to overcome. But when those challenges come, we move forward from a place of victory.

How do you raise this banner of victory?

1) Surrender - It is important that we fully commit our business to Jesus. That starts with us fully surrendering ourselves. We must make sure we are not just saying that He is Lord, but we are truly allowing Him to lead us. Invite God to e

Matthew 7:21-23 (NLT) - “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.  On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’"

2) Trust - As we are on this journey, we must make a daily decision to trust God. We must trust that God will lead us every step of the way. We must trust that He will help us align with His plan. I encourage you to write the vision He is giving you. Map out your plans AND budget by faith.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) - " Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

3) Action - When God says move, you move. No longer can we be concerned with how others will respond. We must also break the habits of procrastination and people pleasing. It's time to stay in motion with God, moving at the pace that He sets. We are in a season where God is accelerating things. Stay the course as you embrace the pace.

Isaiah 30:21 (NLT) - Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.

4) New Spiritual Diet - What are you feeding yourself spiritually? Are you even eating? Or are you spiritually starving? Make the quality decision to feed on the Word of God and spend time in prayer. Your prayer life must be one of great consistency. Be open to a new spiritual regimen if needed.

Matthew 4:4 (NLT) - "But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’"

5) Commitment - It is imperative for us to stay the course. We must decide not to be moved by numbers and vanity metrics. It does not matter how many people joined your LIVE video or how many hit the like button. You must be committed to your assignment regardless of what natural reports may or may not be telling you. Remember that your feelings will lie to you. So, may the decision to keep moving forward apart from how you feel. Pre-decide that quitting is not an option.

Galatians 6:9 (NLT) - "So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up."

6) Elevate your thinking - When you elevate your thinking, you elevate your expectations. This is important because you must see it on the inside before you experience on the outside. Be intentional about being in spaces and places where you are not the smartest one in the room and where you do not make the most money. Allow yourself to connect with people who are further down the road than you. Borrow their faith. If God did it for them, He can do it for you.

Romans 12:2 (NLT) - "Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

I want you to declare that victory belongs to you. Decide that you are going to get ALL God has for you. Trust that with Him ALL things are possible. Forget past failures, disappointments, and/or regrets. Stay connected to healthy community. Keep praise on your lips. This is our time to experience the SUPERNATURAL!
