" I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."— Jeremiah 29:11 (MSG)
Recently, a good friend of mine sent me this verse in Jeremiah about how God has plans for us. But honestly, that is not the part that stood out to me. What stood out to me was, "I know what I am doing." It was like those words leaped off the page and into my heart. An immediate sense of gratitude came over me. In this life, there have been many times I thought I knew what I was doing but then there are moments when I have no clue what is going on or why it's going on. But it's comforting to know that God always knows what's going on and what He's going to do about it. What a relief! You mean I don't have to have a plan figured out? It is freeing to know that I do not have to have a plan. But trust me, I am staying close to the one who does have the ultimate plan and who is always working, especially on things I cannot see.

Sometimes, in the rush of our daily routines, it can feel like we’re doing it alone, navigating the ups and downs with our own strength. But take a moment to pause and look closer: God is at work, always. Whether it’s in the quiet whispers of encouragement, the unexpected opportunities that come our way, or even the challenges that shape us, God’s presence and power are ever-present. My prayer is that we can become more aware of God’s ongoing work in our lives and learn to trust in His perfect timing. This verse in Jeremiah isn’t just a promise of future prosperity; it’s a reminder that God is actively involved in our lives right now, orchestrating events and guiding us according to His grand design.
Let's Recognize God at Work in Our Lives:
Let's recognize Him in the stillness. God often speaks to us not through loud, dramatic events but through the still, small moments. As we start each day with a few minutes of silence, we invite God to speak into our hearts. This quiet time helps us become more in tune with the subtle ways God is moving in our lives.
Let's recognize Him in our interactions. Every conversation and every encounter can be a moment God uses to work in our lives. Approach your daily interactions with openness, considering how God might be using these moments to teach you, guide you, or even use you to be a light to someone else.
Let's recognize Him in our challenges. Our challenges often feel like stumbling blocks, but they can be stepping stones God uses for our growth and His glory. In the most difficult seasons, we can pause and consider how God can use our circumstances to strengthen our faith and deepen our reliance on Him.
Let's pause to consider that God might be using our circumstances for a greater purpose. As we reflect, we can allow Him to guide us on what changes to make so we become more aware of how He is working in our lives. I am a huge advocate for keeping a daily journal of where we see God at work in our lives. It could be as simple as a kind word from someone, a missed opportunity that led to an unexpected blessing, or peace in a chaotic situation.
Dear God, open our eyes to see you in every part of our day. Help us to recognize your hand at work, not only in the miraculous but also in the mundane. Strengthen our faith as we observe you moving in all things, and deepen our trust in your unfailing plan. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
By cultivating an awareness of God’s continuous work in our lives, we not only enrich our spiritual journey but also develop and nurture a deeper connection with Him, learning to rely on His wisdom and timing in all things.

I love you with the love of Christ! ~ April Nicole Scipio 💛
This is probably my favorite verse in the Bible. I think we oftentimes forget that, unlike ourselves, God DOES know what He is doing! We just have to believe Him when he tells us that His way is better!
I have learned so much over the last year of being a part of your community. I would encourage your readers, if you have not joined Apirl's Live Love Lead Community, that you are truly missing out. It is the greatest support system I think I have experienced. Thank you, April, for showing me that God believes in me more than I believe in myself!
